All our rabbits are wild and have more flavour than farmed rabbit which is often imported from China.

Rabbit is enjoying a renaissance with many celebrity chefs and restaurants putting it back on their menus although it remains undervalued. It was part of the staple diet for country people since Norman times.

Our hand diced wild rabbit is low in fat and extremely versatile. It has extremely lean, finely grained meat which carries a subtle mild gamey depth of flavour that makes it a very healthy addition to slow-cooked stews and casseroles.

Seasonal and well-hung meat with unmatched flavour, sourced from the wilds of the North West.

If you don’t want to bother with bones, and just want the meat for a casserole or pie, our Craft Butcher has stripped and cut up the meat from a whole rabbit for your convenience. Size of cubes will vary from the back legs, loin and front legs.

Storage Information
Once you receive your order simply pop it into your fridge or freezer. For best results use fresh meat within 3 days or freeze on day of purchase for up to 3 months. Always thaw meat thoroughly before cooking and do not re-freeze once thawed.
