Sourced from The Forest of Bowland the Sika deer eat a natural diet of grass, berries and fruits, apples, acorns and chestnuts which produces venison meat that is very lean and low in saturated fat. Conveniently diced ready for a casserole, stew or Ragu our Venison meat pairs beautifully with a nice glass of red fruity wine.

Product Description


Compared to beef, venison is not only lower in fat and calories but higher in essential nutrients like iron and B vitamins. The meat has a fine, close-grained texture and very little marbling.

Storage Information
Once you receive your order simply pop it into your fridge or freezer. For best results use fresh meat within 3 days or freeze on day of purchase for up to 3 months. Always thaw meat thoroughly before cooking and do not re-freeze once thawed.
