The Cartmel village shop in the South Lakes area of Cumbria is where Cartmel Sticky Toffee Pudding was born – the recipe was first baked in the back kitchen of the village shop over 30 years ago. Word soon got out and it seemed like everyone wanted some. To this very day, this Sticky Toffee Pudding is still handmade in small batches by a dedicated team who share a passion for puddings, and there’s still nothing to match it.
