Pairs beautifully with brisket, ribs, pork and chicken. The heat of the Ghost chilli makes this a pleasant full flavoured BBQ rub.

This ghost chilli BBQ rub has a slow burn from the Bhut jolokia (Ghost) chilli. In 2007 the Guinness World Records certified the ghost pepper as being the world’s hottest chilli pepper. This was soon superseded in 2011. The ghost chilli is rated at 1 million Scoville heat units or SHUs.

Fear not though as this rub has a nice balance of heat and flavour. As with all Smokey’s rubs, focus is put on the flavour rather than just blowing your head off. But don’t get us wrong, it has a kick to it!
