Our Beef Wellington makes a perfect celebration or date-night-in dish. It’s classic, fancy, and indulging, a perfect main course for any special or celebratory meal.
Prime British Hereford beef fillet coated within a generous duxelles of gently sauteed shallots and mushrooms. The beef is encased with just the right amount of liver pate and a herb and garlic crumb, then gently wrapped in a light pancake before finishing with buttery puff pastry layers, topped with pastry hearts and finally egg wash for a golden flakey crust.

Cooking Instructions: Defrost thoroughly from frozen before cooking and enjoy within 24 hours. Do not re-freeze once defrosted.
The Wellington comes uncooked with an egg wash ready for the oven. Heat up your tray in a preheated oven at 180°C/Gas mark 4. Place your Wellington on baking paper on the heated tray and cook in the oven for 20 minutes, before turning the oven down to 160°C/Gas mark 3. Cook for a further 20 to 25 minutes until the core temperature reaches 45°C (for medium-rare) and the pastry is golden. Remove from the oven and allow to rest for 5-7 minutes. Carve, plate with your chosen accompaniments and enjoy!
