Herdwick Half Lamb Selection Box
Herdwick are Lakelands’ native Heritage sheep breed. They are deliciously tasting, delicately flavoured and reared completely naturally.
Typically, half a lamb will include two whole shoulders and whole leg, a selection of loin and french trimmed cutlet chops, breast, neck, liver and kidney. If you have any specific cutting requirements please leave us a message in the order notes on the checkout page.
Grass-fed lambs have a better ratio of omega-3 to omega-6 and are full of antioxidant vitamins and minerals. The meat is hung on the bone for a minimum of 10 days to make it extra tender.

Description
Experience the subtle flavour, taste and texture of Herdwick Lamb. The Herdwick breed is native to the Lake District and has recently been awarded a PDO (Protected Designation of Origin). They are the hardiest of all Britain’s breeds of hill sheep, living on the highest points of England’s mountains. Even today, they are managed in the old fashioned traditional way, on the Lake District fells that have been their home for generations.
