Taken from the ankle and calf region of the pig, our ham hocks are incredibly meaty and full of flavour.

We leave the skin on which keeps the meat tender while cooking.

Cooked on low temperature over a long period, the hock will produce tender meat that is traditionally used in ham and pea soup. The leftover meat also makes a delicious ham and mustard sandwich.

Ham hock comes from where the foot of the pig joins the leg and is another one of those plentiful cuts of pork meat that is both popular and delicious.

When slowly roasted ham shanks release wonderful flavours and tender meat.

Storage Information
Once you receive your order simply pop it into your fridge or freezer. For best results use fresh meat within 3 days or freeze on day of purchase for up to 3 months. Always thaw meat thoroughly before cooking and do not re-freeze once thawed.
