Halloumi Cheese
Traditionally prepared from a mix of goat’s, sheep’s and cows milk, Halloumi is a white, layered cheese, similar to mozzarella.
It is a semihard, unripened, and brined cheese with a slightly spongy texture and has a good amount of bite. Brilliant cubed onto vegetable skewers, on toasted bread or superb on a baked spud!

Description
Halloumi is an excellent source of protein. It’s rich in calcium and is also a source of zinc, magnesium, vitamin A, and B vitamins. Place a frying pan or griddle pan over a medium-high flame until very hot, then lay slices (0.5-1cm thick) of halloumi on top. Leave for 2-3 minutes until a deep golden colour and ultra crisp, then turn over to fry the other side.
