Genuine Lancashire cheese is made by only a handful of producers today, although the tradition is said to date back to the 13th century. Using creamy milk from cows who graze on the lush pastures surrounding Beacon Fell in the beautiful Trough of Bowland and matured for up to three months. Enjoy these crisps on their own or as an accompaniment to a Lancashire Cheese Ploughman.
